Scarborough Bluffs

The Scarborough Bluffs is a quiet beach located at Brimley and Kingston. I probably wouldn’t take a swim in those waters even if my life depended on it (I can't swim). I guess I’m just not too keen on the idea of getting some strange rashes or abnormal skin growth. Maybe I watched too much TV as a child, but the radioactive three eyed fish from the Simpsons comes to mind.

A word of advice. Do not bring Arizona Honey Green Tea to the beach. I was always under the impression that the honey in these drinks were not potent. I guess I was wrong, because bees came flocking to my drink. I was reluctant to surrender it without a good fight since it was 3/4 full. Let me tell you, those were some persistent bees because I got chased and was running around like an idiot for a good 3 minutes. Even after we threw it away, they spent the next 10 minutes tormenting and tailing us. I guess we might have angered those honey mongers when we pelted sand at them.

The Bluffs have been eroding ever since cottages have been built on this escarpment. Last summer, a house situated on the cliffs had eroded to the point that segments had fallen off and only 25% of the house is left dangling off the cliffs.

  2. The Bluffs look and sound so boring. I hate going to beaches. You should stop pestering Bees. Embrace mother nature!
